When issues arise, generally one should work with the other party to resolve conflicts. Occasionally, however, these conflicts become heated and uncontrollable. During these sccienarios, one should typically bring it before the Pax Forti Court. This can be done by submitting a case.
Step 1: Mediation
Court arbitration is the last step one should take. Figure out solutions if possible first.
Step 2: Filing a Claim
When filing a claim, one should use the following format:
The title should look like this: "[GAMETAG] Court Case ####/A (replace the hashtag with the next number in the sequence)"
Gametags:
Astro-Galaxy: A_G (no underscore)
SimCompanies: S_C (no underscore)
Conflict of Nations: CO_N (no underscore)
Astro Conflict: A_C (no underscore)
Total Battle: T_B (no underscore)
NationStates: N_S (no underscore)
Be as detailed as possible!
If there are controversial, personal, or other data otherwise unsuitable for the public purview, please send the evidence to the administrative offices, or public prosecutor, depending on the contents of the material and whether it constitutes a criminal case.
Step 4: Proceedings
At this time, the defendant and the other parties may submit statements about the topic. Note that it must pass through acceptance before statements can be made. Defendants and plaintiffs may hire or utilize legal counsel for their proceedings. Should the defendant fail to find a legal counsel, the court will appoint one for you. Plaintiffs are not eligible for court-appointed legal counsel.
Step 5: Decision
In the end, the Court will issue a statement, including the decision, majority and minority opinions, amongst other details.
